As a canary and a lover of the flavors of my land, every year I look forward to the reopening of some treasures.

Compare Prices NowThe living room, with its wooden tables and rustic look, makes you feel from the very first moment as at a friend's house. And deep down, that's exactly what -- the house and the family estate.
The owner, and all the staff radiate a friendly bell that is already legendary among the customers, many of whom, like me, repeat year after year.
The Wine and the Bureau
Philosophy is clear and it is the one that defines a guachinche of truth - it opens as long as the wine of its own harvest lasts.
The one here, red and served in bulk, is made on the same farm with strains of Negramoll and other varieties, resulting in a young, soft and aromatic broth that is the perfect companion for food.
Menu
Based on my visits and the unanimous cry of other diners, these are the essential:

- The Fried Baifo: It is, without discussion, the star specialty of the house. Crunchy on the outside, tender and tasty on the inside.
- The Garbanzas: Simply, of the best I've ever tasted on the island. They have that deep, homemade taste that transports you.
- Ribs with Popes and Pineapples: A strong and delicious classic, always well executed.
- Gofio and Fiesta meat scale: Dishes full of identity that capture the soul of our gastronomy.
- Home desserts: Don't leave without proving the quesillo Or some of his homemade cakes. They're the perfect clasp.
One Council of Juan
- Book in advance, especially for the weekends. It is a small place, with about 10 tables, and the fame of its kitchen fills it quickly.
- Come by car. It is in a high rural area, with spectacular sea views, but access is complicated without vehicle. The good news is they have a large private parking lot, so parking won't be a problem.
- Enjoy yourself in a hurry. It is a place to share table, chat and get carried away by the welcoming atmosphere.

Hi, I'm Juan, a boy born and raised in Tenerife. Since I was a kid, food has been my passion. I remember spending hours in the kitchen with my grandmother, learning the secrets of canarian gastronomy. I love to try new flavors, from traditional fish dishes to the most exotic sweets. Tenerife is an amazing place for food lovers, with their markets full of fresh products and restaurants offering a variety of culinary options. If you have a chance to visit the island, you can't miss the experience of tasting our delicious food.
